For this picture I wanted all of the building in the shot, what a stunning looking building with the full length windows and large double doors, bringing the colour out on the old lamp just lifts the whole picture without distracting attention away from the Bride & Groom: ENJOY!
Picture of the day: Bride and Groom with classic wedding car
For this wedding picture it just has to be the classic black and white, especially with a white dress to match the whitewall tyres of this stunningly beautiful wedding car, I used the hands on shoulder pose which works so well to give a much older feel to the whole picture, could of been taken in the 30s ENJOY!
PICTURE OF THE DAY: BRIDE AT LANGTONS ESSEX
For this particular shot I looked at the length and size of langtons house and knew it was the perfect opportunity to use the fish eye lens to its full, to be able to show all the grounds and the house, but most importantly all of the bride and her stunning dress is what it is all about for me, as I keep telling the people I teach wedding photography, we are not coming back tomorrow so make it the best it can be: ENJOY!
BRIDE AND GROOM AT FRIERN MANOR WEDDING VENUE
This picture was taken at Friern Manor wedding venue in Essex, the picture was taken in the evening deliberately to add the feeling of complete romantic solitude, night time wedding shoots do not need to be avoided if you have the right professional equipment, and of course a cracking photographer. ENJOY!
Picture of the day : Atmospheric Church
This gorgeous fish-eye shot, taken from the back of St Giles Church really helps to portray the history and atmosphere of this wonderful building. I’ve added a slight vignette in the knowledge that it will help the eye to focus and look straight down the aisle. Lovely. Enjoy!
Picture of the day: Bride and groom expression
When many moons ago I was learning photography I was taught Pose, light, expression!!!
Pose: you cant always control this element, but when you take control make sure to take the time to pose the Bride and Groom to the best you possibly can.
Light: you can control this all of the time, no excuses please.
Expression: sometimes you can, sometimes you cant when you can, make them smile. Here endeth the lesson!
ENJOY!
