Essex wedding photography of the day: Groom and suits

April 5th, 2016

For this particular wedding photography shot I wanted to use the colours in the Grooms button hole to full effect, and what better way to show them all off in the same wedding shot.

Essex wedding photography of the day: Ageing process

March 30th, 2016

This wedding photography picture was heavily processed by me to give that very old look, the sort of photograph you would accidentally stumble upon up in your grandmas loft whilst opening cardboard boxes.

Essex wedding photography of the day: Dramatic Church

March 28th, 2016

When shooting a wedding you must always get a picture of the building at which the married couple got married especially if its as special as this place, a lot of post production work went into creating this final image but well worth it me thinks.

Essex wedding photography of the day: wedding dress

March 25th, 2016

This wedding photography picture was taken in the bridal room at Gosfield Hall wedding venue, I decided to use the four poster bed to hang the wedding dress as it helps to bring some of the feel of the grand room into the wedding picture, and what a stunning dress it truly is.

Essex wedding photography of the day: look again

February 1st, 2016

For this wedding photography picture I wanted the wedding couple to be deliberately out of focus and not so initially the main interest of the picture, by making the viewer look more intently into the picture I feel makes the subject that more interesting.

Essex wedding photography of the day: Contrast wedding picture

January 25th, 2016

0755Contrast is the name of the game with this wedding photography picture, notice the contrast between the brides wedding dress and the Grass, and also the same applies with the bushes and the sky, by using the correct filters it canĀ  change the whole feel of a standard picture.

Essex wedding photography of the day: old-fashioned look

January 15th, 2016

For this wedding photography picture I knew from the start that it needed to be made to look old- fashioned and worn, a few hours in photoshop and I had the exact look I intended from the start.

Essex wedding photography of the day: Shards of light Wedding kiss

November 15th, 2015

0300Capturing the first married wedding kiss is always a must, but I wanted to add something special and new to the shot, I played about with various filters but nothing grabbed my attention.

Then by chance I was shooting landscapes and witnessed the most spectacular sky with shards of light bursting through the clouds. BINGO!

Essex wedding photography of the day: Summer sepia

June 5th, 2015

For this wedding photography picture I decided to make full use of the sweeping treeline as it adds interest to the foreground as well as the background without causing any distraction to the bride. I used a heavy sepia tone to help show the sun on the summer grass.

ENJOY!
